On this day tour from Chiang Mai you will get to visit 3 of Chiang Rai's most impressive and important temples including the stunning Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) as well as enjoy the scenic attractions at Chiang Rai's Singha Park.
TOUR DESCRIPTION
The tour will begin with the guide and driver team picking you up from your Chiang Mai hotel and the drive northwards out of the city to the neighbouring province of Chiang Rai. On route we will take a rest break at Mae Kha Jan hot-springs, an ideal spot to grab a morning cup of coffee and to boil an egg in the hot spring water. The trip will proceed to one of the days main attractions Wat Rong Khun, more commonly referred to by its visitors as The White Temple. At the White temple you will be amazed at this unique white structure which dazzles in the sun! The white temples now forms the centre-piece of a larger collection of interesting temple buildings and structures and you will have time to explore these too. Following The White Temple we will proceed to the second coloured-themed temple of the day Wat Rong Suea Ten. This time the internal and external decorations take on a deep blue colour and makes for a unique and brilliant sight! To conclude the temple visits we will make our way to Wat Huay Pla Kan, a temple complex featuring a 9-floor pagoda with 12 surrounding structures and a giant Buddha. After our lunch we will spend the afternoon at Chiang Rai popular Singha Park. A farm like setting featuring tea plantations, orchids and a petting zoo.
