TOUR DESCRIPTION
Day 1 - Wat Umong & Doi Suthep Temple At Night
We will pick you up from your Chiang Mai hotel to begin your evening tour, and then we'll head towards the Doi Pui mountain. A 700-year-old temple named Wat Umong is located at the base of the Doi Pui mountain, tucked away in a forest. The ideal time to visit this intriguing temple is during the twilight hours because of its famed underground passages and towering Chedi. There is also a field with shattered Buddha sculptures nearby. The most renowned temple in Chiang Mai will be visited after Wat Umong, and without a doubt, the evening is the best time to go since most of the tourists that do go here will have left for the day. You will marvel in the wonderfully unique nighttime views of Chiang Mai and be able to see the city lit up below you!
Day 2 - Doi Inthanon National Park Tour
This tour allows you to take in the panoramas of Doi Inthanon National Park below while cooling off on Thailand's highest summit. On the peak, nighttime temperatures might drop as low as -8 degrees Celsius. Nighttime frosts are frequent during the cold, dry season . Don't forget to pack a long sleeve pullover because daytime temps can be rather chilly. Wachiritharn and Siritharn Waterfalls, a Hmong hill tribal market selling local produce, as well as the king and queen chedi's, will all be visited on the way up (the best views across the park are found at the pagodas)The tallest mountain in Thailand, Doi Inthanon, is the next destination for us as we continue upward. We'll take the Angkha nature trail near the summit, where you may discover the distinctive flora and forest found at this elevation. Doi Inthanon's boundaries include both Karen and Hmong communities, and before returning to Chiang Mai, we will visit a Karen village on the way down the mountain.
Day 3 - Amazing Chiang Rai Temples and Singha Park Tour
Day three will start with a pick-up from your accommodation in Chiang Mai by the guide and driver team, who will then take you away from the city to the neighboring province of Chiang Rai. On the way, we will stop at Mae Kha Jan Hot Springs for a break. This is a great place to get a morning cup of coffee and boil an egg in the hot spring water. The next stop will be Wat Rong Khun, popularly known as The White Temple by its visitors and one of the day's primary attractions. You'll be in awe of the distinctive white edifice which forms the central temple structure and sparkles in the sunlight! The white temple now serves as the central focus of a bigger collection of fascinating temple buildings and constructions. We will move on to Wat Rong Suea Ten, the second temple of the day with a color theme.w This time, the interior and exterior decorations adopt a deep blue hue, creating a singular and magnificent picture! To round out the temple tours we will travel to Wat Huay Pla Kan, a temple complex with a nine-floor pagoda, twelve encircling buildings, and a huge Buddha. We'll spend the afternoon at Chiang Rai's well-known Singha Park following lunch. a setting like a farm with tea plantations, orchid gardens, and a petting zoo.
Day 4 - One Day Elephant Care and Trekking
We have a lot planned for the fourth day to the jungles east of Chiang Mai, so you'll need to get ready for an early start. The guide and driver team will pick you up from your hotel and drive you an hour outside of the city to the breathtaking Mae Wang region. On the way, we'll stop briefly at a small Thai market so you can pick up a morning coffee or other refreshments. The elephant camp will be the first stop of the day; expect to be here for around two to three hours. Here, you may bathe the elephants, play with them in the mud or water, and just spend some quality time with well-kept elephants. You can also offer the elephants their daily vitamin food. After the activities involving the elephants are over, it's time to try some bamboo rafting on the Win! You will spend 40–60 minutes floating through the jungle and the rural riverside life in this breathtakingly picturesque region. Come prepared with a swimsuit or clothes you won't mind getting wet in since the rafts sit low in the water. You'll be hungry after the rafting, I guarantee it! It will then be time to eat a filling lunch to refuel for the afternoon's hike. Be prepared with a swimsuit if you wish to cool down in the cool waters tumbling from the forest waterfalls as you journey through both rice paddies and jungle. You will get to stop at two waterfalls, one of which is excellent for swimming most of the year. The trek lasts about three hours, and you may anticipate returning to Chiang Mai by 6:00pm
Day 5 - Asia Scenic Thai Cooking School
