TOUR DESCRIPTION
Doi Suthep is the most famous of Chiang Mai's temples and it's most prominent sitting at 1685 meters above the city. Nestled on a small sub-peak on Doi Pui mountain the temple affords spectacular views across the city and beyond. Even for those who are not temple buffs, the view is worth the trip alone. Following Doi Suthep, we will take the winding road back down the mountain to the Five hill tribe village at Baan Tong Luang where you will meet The Karen Long Neck (Padaung) Akha and Lahu among others residing at this village. After a leisurely lunch, you will have the option to visit The Tiger Kingdom (You will have time to play with the fully grown tigers or tiger cubs if you choose) We will then proceed out to the Sankampeang area (dropping in at the Thai orchid and butterfly farm on route) to view the manufacture of famous Chiang Mai and Thai product such as silk, Celadon, paper umbrellas and more before transferring you back to your Chiang Mai hotel.

Free pick up and drop off is included to and from any Chiang Mai city hotel. As this is a privately escorted tour we can pick up and drop off at out of town resorts. There may be an extra charged levied for pick up and drop off at outlying establishments. We can notify you of any extra charges before we request any payments.
You are touring in a hot climate wear comfortable cool attire. Shorts and t shirt or similar clothing are good for this tour. Rain is possible at any time of the year but more likely during the rainy season months of May to October - bring a light weight rain coat during these months. There are only short brief walks on this tour and sandal type footwear is OK.
On this tour you will be visiting Buddhist temples. Respectful dress is always appreciated. For dress we suggest the following:
Please wear a shirt which covers the shoulders and reaches the waist (a t shirt will be fine!) For leg ware at least knee length shorts or skirt should be worn.
